Do I need yoga experience to go on a retreat?
No yoga experience needed! Our retreats are open to all levels – Claire is highly experienced in all levels of Yoga. We have had many guests arriving with zero yoga experience. Simply come with an open mind.
How many people attend each retreat?
Depending on the individual venue, our typical a maximum is 12 guests. This number size allows each guest to get tailored individual attention and creates a lovely intimate experience at our retreats.
What is the cuisine like? Do you cater for people with allergies?
All our food is vegetarian. Piotr tries as much as possible to source ingredients locally and organically grown. We do cater for all allergies such gluten, lactose or nuts intolerance, provided we are informed in advance. Cuisine varies on season and country of retreat. Piotr’s cooking is greatly influenced by our travels so expect Italian, Indian, Polish and Spanish dishes among others.
What should I bring?
These details will all be given to you a few weeks prior to the retreat and will differ depending on which retreat you have booked with us.
For all our retreats, yoga mats/props/blankets etc will be provided but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Please bring comfortable clothing for yoga sessions and we recommend you bring a long sleeves/pants for morning meditation/evening yoga nidra.
Can I come day earlier and stay a day late?
It is generally not possible for us to accommodate you here before or after the published retreat dates as most of our venues are private properties. However we are happy to provide guidance on nearby areas should you wish to stay longer.
Unfortunately you can not bring your own pet to our retreat. Most venues have their own resident animals living on site alongside our team dog Rupee.
Generally speaking your retreat package covers everything including food, and any scheduled day trip. Most guests find they spend almost nothing during the retreat. There are however opportunities to visit nearby towns, museums etc so some extra cash could come handy. Each venue also as an onsite masseuse where you can book treatments at additional cost.
