Weekend Retreats in Kenmare, County Kerry
Our charming & peaceful private residence for the weekend is located just 10 minutes drive outside of Kenmare, the charming heritage town known as the Jewel of the Ring of Kerry. At the edge of a silver birch woods with views of the Ballygriffin valley and surrounding countryside lies this our stunning venue. A custom built retreat centre, our unique yoga space will be held in the bright & airy artists studio. As nod to the owners passion you will find original artwork in most rooms of the house.
Complete with a soothing stream running through the grounds and balconies with beautiful views, guests will be able to take quiet walks through the private woods or find solitary places to sit and simply enjoy the nature around us.
During the weekend you will have the opportunity to visit Kenmare town and pier or take a short hike up Killaha mountain which offers supreme views of Kenmare town and bay. Holistic therapies will also be available on site.
Kenmare is accessible from both Kerry and Cork Airports with daily flights from most major cities. If you need assistance in planning your journey, please let us know. We can often arrange a car pool from Cork city.
Claire’s teaching style aims to make yoga attainable for everybody so whether you are completely new to yoga, have an existing injury or are a seasoned yogi you should find the retreat interesting, rewarding and hopefully take home some new perspectives with you.
Classes & workshops will include; Gentle Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Meditation
Relax & De-Stress Retreats are ideal for anyone recovering from injury, illness or who simply needs nurturing break from their busy daily life.
Mats & props will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own should you wish
We believe in sharing seasonal creative and nutritious vegetarian cuisine. All meals are varied and freshly prepared on site. Mealtimes are just as much a part of the retreat experience as our yoga classes.
Carnivores: do not be fearful! we will show you that vegetarian food can be so delicious, you won’t even miss your meat!
Piotr will lead a 2 hour workshop where you will learn how to prepare a 3 course vegetarian meal from scratch. Hot & cold beverages and snacks will also be available throughout the retreat.
We are happy to cater for any dietary needs or special requests, please let us know when booking.
There are a limited number of rooms available therefore the retreat price is based on shared twin bedrooms. For your comfort all bedrooms are en-suite.
A number of rooms will be available for single occupancy which will incur an single supplement charge of €60
The retreat environment is one of community with a friendly group atmosphere so guests who are joining by themselves should not feel apprehensive.
There will also be ample opportunity for individual time, private walks, silence etc so those who are coming for self reflection will not be disappointed.
In order to give each meet each guests individual needs we choose our venues specifically to keep a small group size. Therefore there will be a maximum of 12 participants on these weekend retreats.
Check in on Friday will begin from 2pm on-wards and the Check out is at 1pm Sunday
Onsite holistic therapies such as massage and beauty therapies will be available to book at additional cost. A wonderful way to deepen your relaxation during the weekend!
